ALDER BODY

A classic Fender tonewood known for resonance, punch and clarity, alder has a balanced and lively tone with beefy mids and a robust low-end.

7.25” RADIUS ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD WITH VINTAGE TALL FRETS

Slab rosewood fingerboard adds warmth to the tone and the 7.25” radius fingerboard provides vintage comfort and feel, while vintage-tall frets provide slightly more height than vintage for big bends and wide vibrato.

EARLY ’60S “C”-SHAPE NECK

Based on an early-’60s “C” profile, this comfortably rounded “C” is slim at the nut and gradually thickens toward the 12th fret for an intuitive and inviting feel.

VINTAGE-STYLE MID-’60S PICKUPS

The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC, or simply Fender) is an American manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers. Fender produces acoustic guitars, bass amplifiers and public address equipment, but is best known for its solid-body electric guitars and bass guitars, particularly the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and the Jazz Bass.

The company was founded in Fullerton, California by Clarence Leonidas "Leo" Fender in 1946.  Its headquarters are in Los Angeles, California. The company filed for an initial public offering in March 2012, but this was withdrawn five months later.

In addition to its Los Angeles headquarters, Fender has manufacturing facilities in Corona, California (US) and Ensenada, Baja California (Mexico).
