Crafted with either a solid Sitka spruce or genuine Mahogany top inlaid into a fully chambered Mahogany body, Highway Series guitars are engineered with a proprietary internal architecture including a tapered floating X bracing pattern and inventive thinline design, producing remarkable resonance and dynamic, organic tone. With fidelity and performance at its core, the Fishman Fluence Acoustic Pickup system incorporates an elegantly curved magnetic Fluence® Core™ pickup with innovative all-analog technology to deliver pure and truly musical amplified tone with astonishing sonic realism, clarity and feedback resistance.

FISHMAN FLUENCE ACOUSTIC ELECTRONICS

With a patent-pending curved form factor and all-analog electronics, the Fishman Fluence Acoustic pickup is the soul of the Highway Series. From its integrated mounting system to the unique internal architecture of the guitar every aspect of the guitar and pickup were innovated in tandem to provide pristine sonic clarity, responsiveness, and dynamic range all in a whisper-quiet noiseless design

MULTI-VOICE CONTROL

Designed in collaboration between Fender and our partners at Fishman, the Highway Series features intuitive controls for volume and contour, which pans between two different EQ settings giving the player unique tonal control without coloring the natural acoustic sound of the instrument.

MADE IN MEXICO

All Highway Series instruments are crafted at our state-of-the-art acoustic guitar manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Mexico.

The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC, or simply Fender) is an American manufacturer of stringed instruments and amplifiers. Fender produces acoustic guitars, bass amplifiers and public address equipment, but is best known for its solid-body electric guitars and bass guitars, particularly the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Precision Bass, and the Jazz Bass.

The company was founded in Fullerton, California by Clarence Leonidas "Leo" Fender in 1946. Its headquarters are in Los Angeles, California. The FMIC is a privately held corporation, with Andy Mooney serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company filed for an initial public offering in March 2012, but this was withdrawn five months later.
