Crafted with a resonant 2-piece ash body finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, this instrument radiates vintage charm. The 1-piece maple neck and 7.25″ radius fingerboard with vintage frets provide the smooth playability that players have cherished for decades. 70th Anniversary 1954 Single-Coil Strat® pickups conjure authentic tones that sparkle and bark when pushed. Other appointments include a vintage-accurate synchronized tremolo with cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, single-line “Fender Deluxe” tuners and a single-ply pickguard with period correct pickup covers, switch tip and knobs. The included vintage-style tweed case is packed with a bevy of period case-candy to complete the package. This limited-edition model captures the essence of the original Stratocaster, a must-have for collectors and Strat enthusiasts.

2-PIECE ASH BODY WITH GLOSS NITROCELLULOSE LACQUER FINISH

Ash is a warm-toned wood with clear, bright highs, defined midrange and a beautiful grain pattern. Nitrocellulose lacquer, as used on ‘50s and ‘60’s Fender instruments, is a premium finish that reveals the instrument’s true tonal character and provides authentic vintage aesthetics.

70TH ANNIVERSARY 1954 SINGLE-COIL STRAT® PICKUPS

Specially voiced to reproduce the authentic sound of a vintage 1954 Stratocaster, the 70th Anniversary 1954 Single-Coil Strat® pickups are full of the woody warmth and bell-like, crystalline tone that made Fender instruments famous.

1954 “C”-SHAPE NECK

Replicating the shape and thickness of a 1954 Strat, this authentic neck profile from Fender’s past is even and robust with smooth and inviting playability from end to end.

7.25” RADIUS MAPLE FINGERBOARD

The 7.25”-radius fingerboard and vintage frets provide the comfortable playing feel of a cherished fifties Stratocaster.

VINTAGE-STYLE HARDWARE

From the bridge to the string tree and tuning machines, every piece of hardware is manufactured to look, sound and function just like it did on the originals. Unlike later iterations of the Stratocaster, this 1954 model features the period-correct round disc-style string tree, special pickup covers with softer top-corner radius, “football” shaped switch-tip, “tallboy” knobs with slim skirts and small numbering, and the backplate with circular string-holes.

70TH ANNIVERSARY STRATOCASTER CASE AND ACCESSORY KIT

The included vintage-style tweed case is packed with a bevy of period case-candy to complete the package: a vintage-style bridge cover, polish cloth, vintage-style strap and cable, an engraved anniversary neck plate, and some lovely ephemera like a 1954 hang tag and Strat “instruction” sheets. We even include a 5-position switch to swap out the stock 3-position if you so desire.
