The Andy Summers Walking on the Moon is an analog flanger with a simple but powerful control set of RATE, RANGE, and COLOR. RATE sets the speed of modulation which ranges from slow, smooth filter sweeps to jittering vibrato. RANGE controls how narrow or wide the effect sweeps into the bass frequency range. The COLOR control effects the intensity of the flanger effect from subtle chorusing effects to classic jet woosh sounds. These three controls interact to create a wide breath of modulation effects.

Additionally, the Walking on the Moon includes a FILTER MATRIX which disengages the LFO from the flanger circuit, freezing the flanger giving a fixed filter effect, which can add chime or metallic overtones to your sound without the movement of a traditional modulation pedal. A DRY output allows you to split your dry signal from the effected signal.

Special Artist Edition graphics featuring Andy’s signature adorn the chassis and a tribute Walking on the Moon poster with art by Laura Josephson is included with each pedal.

Electro-Harmonix is an New York City-based American company that makes electronic audio processors and sells rebranded vacuum tubes. The company was founded by Mike Matthews in 1968. It is best known for a series of guitar effects pedals introduced in the 1970s and 1990s. EH also made a line of guitars in the 70s.

During the mid-1970s, Electro-Harmonix established itself as a manufacturer of guitar effects pedals. It was the first company to introduce, manufacture, and market affordable state-of-the art "stomp-boxes" for guitarist and bassists, such as the first stomp-box flanger (Electric Mistress), the first analog echo/delay unit with no moving parts (Memory Man), the first guitar synthesizer in pedal form (Micro Synthesizer), and the first tube-amp distortion simulator (Hot Tubes). In 1980, Electro-Harmonix also designed and marketed one of the first digital delay/looper pedals (16-Second Digital Delay) and a line of guitars in the 70s.

A sophisticated noise gate that can tame a single pedal or an entire effects loop! The Silencer’s three-control layout provides precise fine-tuning to fit your system, axe and playing style. Threshold adjusts how much level is required to open the noise gate and allow a signal to pass thru. Reduction regulated the degree to which the gated signal is reduced and is variable between -70dB and +4dB. Release controls how long the gate remains open after the signal drops below the Threshold. Release time is variable between 8ms and 4 seconds. I/O includes ¼ inch Input, Output, Send and Return jacks.
