La G6119T-62GE Vintage Select  Edition Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose conserve toutes les caractéristiques des modèles de 1962, c'est comme si le temps s'était arrêté. Une guitare de rêve pour les puristes ! Conçue en collaboration avec le fameux guitariste Chet Atkins, la Tennessee Rose se caractérise par son corps fin doté d'ouïes en F peintes. Selon Chet Atkins, les véritables ouïes auraient une influence négative sur le rendu du son. Les barrages Tone Bar parallèles lui sont redevables aussi. Grâce à ce renforcement ingénieux, la guitare bénéficie d'un corps plus fin tout en conservant le son hollow body riche.   Beauté classique   Dotée d'une belle finition Dark Cherry Stain, la guitare vous fait remonter aux années 60. Non seulement la forme et la finition remontent dans le temps mais, l'électronique est, elle aussi, de style vintage. En effet, la guitare est munie de deux micros à simple bobinage TV-Jones Hilo'tron. Ces derniers affichent un niveau de sortie plus élevé et un son plus chaleureux qu'un micro à simple bobinage standard et fournissent en même temps des aigus brillants avec du mordant. Atkins a également doté la guitare d'un réglage de tonalité étendu et polyvalent. Même les mécaniques Sta-tite sont de style vintage. En bref, il s'agit d'une guitare Vintage Select  Gretsch dotée des caractéristiques et des sons d'antan, le tout proposé à un prix honnête.   Éditions Vintage Select    Bien que fondée en 1883, l'époque de gloire de la société Gretsch ne commença que dans les années 50. C'était non seulement dû à l'apparition du Rock 'n' Roll mais aussi au fait que les luthiers ne cessaient de développer leurs techniques de fabrication. Grâce aux nombreuses années d'expérience et à la collaboration avec des fameux guitaristes tels que Chet Atkins, les modèles de l'époque sont toujours très recherchés.
